Model Selection

This endpoint supports both google/nano-banana-2 and google/nano-banana-2-v2.The v2 version is about 40% cheaper, but generation may be slower. Choose based on your cost vs latency needs. google_search and output_format are not supported on v2 and may be ignored.

Parameter compatibility notes for google/nano-banana-2-v2:

  • google_search is not supported and may be ignored.

  • System will POST task status and results to this URL when generation completes
  • Callback payloads structure is consistent with the data object returned by the task status query
  • Your callback endpoint should accept POST requests with JSON payload containing results
